The MoonCastle Ice Cotton Series is made from sustainable and functional Ice Cotton yarn, originally developed by the renowned Swiss yarn manufacturer, Spoerry. This yarn is knitted into 4-ply, 12-gauge fabric, creating a unique cool touch and crispness.

OHP sizing advice: fits snug but not as much as the tees. take 1 size above your normal t-shirt size if you like a relaxed fit or true to size if you like a snug fit.

About the Brand

MoonCastle

The MoonCastle brand was created in 2020 by Ryoichi Tsukishiro based on his surname ("tsuki" moon and "shiro" castle). Tsukishiro-san is the third generation in a family that started a knitting factory in Osaka in 1966. Though COVID-19 disrupted many in the clothing production industry, he deftly opened new channels of distribution, and, more importantly, appreciation of the factory's products.

The design is "New Classic," meaning simple and elegant details that go great with tailoring. In addition to the exceptional Japanese workmanship, they select exclusive "Ice Cotton" yarns from long-running Swiss spinning companies and merino wool from Australia. Through conducting all the production processes themselves, including yarn selection, design, pattern making, knitting, sewing, and finishing, they're able to achieve a level of quality and value unmatched in the industry.
