Collection: Alden
The Alden Shoe Company was founded in 1884 by Charles H. Alden in Middleborough,
Massachusetts during the heyday of American shoe manufacturing. America (Massachusetts in particular) once produced more shoes than anywhere else in the world. These days, nearly all of those firms have gone out of business or moved production overseas - but not Alden!
Among their many accolades are the invention of the original tassel loafer and removable golf spikes. Furthermore, the shoes they build today draw upon a 140-year history of custom and orthopedic shoemaking, making them comfortable from the first wear and even corrective for many with minor foot issues.
Old House Provisions is proud to partner with such a historic firm committed to quality American manufacturing. Aldens are available in-store only.
