Cohérence's classic model FOUFOU has two inspiration sources. One is snapshot of Leonard Foujita at Deauville seashore on 1928, and the other is a “Motoring Coat” which has same detail of his coat, no belt and double breast. The model's name comes from his nickname by his unique looks and attitude in Ecole de Paris era. In French, FOUFOU means “Mad-Mad”. On FOUFOU II, it is set with “sloping raglan sleeve cut” which enables flexible fitting.
