The Yahae brand was born in 2020, but the history of the factory goes back to 1921. Based in Nara, the heart of the organic cotton industry in Japan since the 1820s, Yahae remains committed to traditional techniques and sustainable production. They use vintage machines to create unique low gauge knits, organic fibers of cotton, yak, wool, and alpaca, and no chemical dyes.

They believe that socks fill a unique and important role in clothing since they both sit next to your skin and are visible to others. Beyond the materials and techniques used, the feeling you get from wearing a pair of Yahae socks is paramount.
