Crafted from stretch-cotton moleskin woven in Lancashire, this bomber blends military heritage with modern refinement. The brushed cloth is naturally water-resistant and luxuriously soft, finished with British-made real horn buttons and signature copper hardware – a versatile jacket for city, country & everything in between.

Moleskin was historically favored for its tough, durable qualities and its dense weave, which made it exceptionally warm. Indeed, moleskin is often very heavy and thick. The fabric used for this bomber though is the opposite. It’s still technically moleskin, but it’s remarkably soft, with its tactile brushed finish giving it an almost cashmere-like feel. It’s also lightweight and breathable, and comes with 2% elastane, giving it a subtle stretch that helps the garment move with you rather than against you.

For the fit, Private White V.C. went with a slightly more tailored, slimmer cut than they usually use. This gives the bomber a contemporary look versus more traditional takes, which are usually boxy and, as a result, sloppy. This more refined cut means it can easily cross over from casualwear into smarter attire. At the same time, the Moleskin Bomber is a natural pairing for jeans and a simple tee. Just ensure your trousers have a mid to high rise, which will complement the jacket’s slightly cropped length.

Private White V.C. hand-makes the finest coats in the world in Manchester, England. Named after Private Jack White V.C., who won the Victoria Cross in WWI, his family continue the business he began in Tottenham House, the city's last surviving factory from the Industrial Revolution.

Every Private White V.C. garment is hand-cut, sewn, and finished in their Manchester factory by skilled craftspeople, many of whom have been with the company for decades. They source over 90% of their materials within 20 miles and work only with Britain’s most venerable mills.
